Behind The Lens 

 

    My name is Leigh Joyce Edmunds. I am a local resident, born and raised in

Cochrane Alberta Canada. I have two passions in life. The first is my family. I am a mom of two energetic boys, 11 and 8, and a 5 year old little girl.  This past year I have met a man who completes me and my kids.  Brent also has two children.  His son is 21 and his daughter is 17.

They all keep me going with life and laughter.  

My parents and brother are also a big inspiration in my life. It was those  

unforgetable family moments that put me behind the lens. As a hobby I discovered

a world of endless possibilities looking through a camera lens during those special

family occassions. This brought me to my second passion, photography. I

discovered that being able to capture that perfect sunset or the laughter in a young

child through photography, that I can bring that memory frozen in time to life.

 

    I started Picture Perfect Photography to do just that. A photograph taken

should be able to not only show an image of a particular moment in time, but be

able to breath life in to it. I find myself on regular occassions pulling over on a road

side turn off to capture those moments. My creative inspirations not only come from my

towns great heritage or panoramic views, but also from its local residents. I

enjoy capturing self portraits, family sittings, baby sittings and not to forget

our furry family pets. I help mothers to be, embrace that

special time in their pregnancy prior to the birth of their child through photography, as

well as the general needs of my clients. My goal is to capture through photography,

the visions they are looking for. Picture Perfect Photography will create an image that

not only puts life into a photograph, but give back memories you can actually enjoy for

years to come. The professionalism and curtousy I present to all my clients is evident

in my sittings and photographs.

 

Picture Perfect Photography would like to take your memories and bring them

to life. I work closely with my clients to capture the perfect backdrop to their

memories. Once the photographic sitting is complete, an edited version is put

on compact disc for my clients.
